In the following five photographs, I collaborated with a model from Shanghai entirely through Zoom. From my bedroom in San Diego, I’ve discovered virtual photography as a new creative approach to photography and found a way to break boundaries during this time of isolation. In this specific series, my model projected images of different colored melting candle sticks onto her body to create morphed and distorted figurative images. The warped distortions brought on a new perspective that mirrored both the inner and outer desires of one’s subconsciousness.
