My installation explores the enmeshment between technology and the body, and the various utopian/dystopian narratives provoked by this relationship. Individuals, culture, and existing sociopolitical power structures are both fragmented and homogenized by digitality. Limbo Aesthetics explores social and political power structures to investigate how hypercapitalism exploits us by turning our bodies and our environment into sources for digital data extraction.
Visitors are invited to walk through the forest of swaying layers of fabric, restricting and revealing constantly changing and overlapping projections and sounds.
