Cruzeiro do Sul (Southern Cross) is a constellation that can only be seen in the Southern part of the World and it consists of a cross pointing South. It is vital to Brazilian history and it is present in the country’s flag. In my work, which consists of a flag, the constellation is used upside down, disoriented, pointing nowhere North.
