Existence is about body movement as well as the relationship between space and body once the individual is erased. The artist made the essential element of her project, body socks, in different colors and sizes and placed them in either city or suburban backgrounds. The models wearing the body socks then attempted to hide or showcase their bodies using various movements. The poses emanate random and uncertain energies reflecting the opposing flows of deliberation and natural encounter. “Existence” aims to question the relationship of the human body in a social environment, how it transforms, camouflages, and even mimics its surroundings in attempts to either fade away or demand attention. The exploration of truth beyond an individual body can be examined as the focus goes beyond the body, but the environments in which they exist. The artist questioned her identity, faced the challenges of defining sexuality, and embraced its uncertainty.
